Walking
Start at the main traffic circle in Thimphu, known as Clock Tower Square. From there, head south on Norzin Lam, the main street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Dechencholing Road. Turn left onto Dechencholing Road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Pangri Zampa Monastery on your right. Follow the path leading up to the monastery, which is situated on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area.
Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Thimphu, take the local bus heading towards Dechencholing. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the Pangri Zampa Monastery stop. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs pointing towards the monastery, which is a short walk uphill.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Thimphu. Start at the Clock Tower Square and cycle south on Norzin Lam for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the junction with Dechencholing Road, turn left and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Look for the sign for Pangri Zampa Monastery on your right. There is a pathway that leads up to the monastery; be prepared for a short uphill climb.
