If you are traveling by car, start from Uyuni, the nearest major town. Take Route 30 south towards the town of San Cristóbal. After about 60 km, turn left onto Route 5 which will take you towards the town of Atocha. Continue on Route 5 for approximately 78 km. Once you reach Atocha, follow the signs for Termas de Polques, which is about 15 km from Atocha. The roads can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Make sure to fill up on fuel and supplies in Uyuni before heading out, as services are limited in the area.

To reach Termas de Polques via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Uyuni to Atocha. Buses depart regularly from the Uyuni bus terminal, and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. The fare should be around 30 BOB (Bolivianos). Once in Atocha, you will need to hire a taxi or a local shared transport (known as 'trufi') to get to Termas de Polques, which is approximately 15 km away. Negotiate the fare with the driver, which should be around 50-100 BOB depending on the number of passengers.
