Public Transportation - Bus
If you are in any area around Lake Titicaca, you can take a local bus to Puno. Most buses in the region are inexpensive, costing around 1-2 soles per person, and they frequently run throughout the day. Look for buses heading to 'Puno Centro' or 'Puno Plaza'. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Puno, you will be approximately a 10-minute walk to Puno Cathedral.
Walking
From the bus terminal, exit onto Av. La Paz and head southeast. Continue walking straight until you reach Jr. Ayacucho. Turn left onto Jr. Ayacucho and walk for about 5 minutes until you see Puno Cathedral on your right at Jr. Ayacucho 416.
Car - Taxi
If you prefer a more private mode of transportation, you can hire a taxi from anywhere around Lake Titicaca. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey; it should cost around 10-20 soles from the waterfront to the cathedral. The driver will take you directly to Puno Cathedral located at Jr. Ayacucho 416.
Car - Rental
If you have rented a car, navigate to Jr. Ayacucho 416, Puno 21001, Peru. Use GPS or a navigation app to guide you. Once you reach the area, you will find parking options nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
