Walking
From Plaza Principal in Tarija, head southeast towards Calle 4 de Julio. Walk along Calle 4 de Julio for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Turn left onto Avenida 6 de Agosto and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. After 1 kilometer, turn right onto Calle Loma de San Juan. Follow this road uphill for about 800 meters until you reach the Mirador de la Loma de San Juan. The scenic views from the mirador are worth the trek!

Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Tarija, take a local bus heading towards 'La Loma' or 'Cerrito de la Loma'. Buses frequently depart, and the fare is quite inexpensive. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for 'Mirador de la Loma de San Juan'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the designated stop, then walk uphill for about 400 meters to reach the mirador. Follow the signs along the path to the viewpoint.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Tarija. Start your journey from Plaza Principal, cycling southeast towards Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue on Avenida 6 de Agosto for about 1 kilometer before turning right onto Calle Loma de San Juan. The road inclines, so be prepared for a workout. Continue cycling uphill for approximately 800 meters until you arrive at Mirador de la Loma de San Juan.
