    From the center of Trebinje, start at the main square, Trg Slobode. Head northeast on the main street, Ul. Jovana Dučića, towards the Trebišnjica River. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge. Once you cross, turn right onto Ul. Kralja Petra I, and continue walking along the river. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a bus stop. From here, you can catch a local bus or continue walking along the river. If you choose to walk, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the historic district. Once you reach the old town area, follow signs leading towards Fort St. Margaret, which is located near the waterfront. The fort is situated on a hill, so you will need to walk uphill for a short distance to reach the entrance.

    Start at the main square in Trebinje, Trg Slobode. Walk to the nearest bus stop located on Ul. Jovana Dučića. Take a local bus heading towards Dubrovnik, Croatia. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off near the Fort St. Margaret area. After approximately 30 minutes, the bus will stop near the entrance to the fort. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs leading to Fort St. Margaret, which is a short walk uphill from the bus stop.
