The most common way to reach Camp Xakanaxa is by a light aircraft transfer from Maun or Kasane to the Xakanaxa airstrip. The flight from Maun takes approximately 25 minutes, while the flight from Kasane is around 1 hour. From the Xakanaxa airstrip, it is a 15-25 minute road transfer to the camp. These transfers are typically arranged by the camp as part of the safari package. Costs for flights to the Okavango Delta vary widely depending on the operator, but can range from $300 to $600 per person.

It is possible to drive to Camp Xakanaxa with a 4WD vehicle, but it is a challenging journey. The drive from Maun takes approximately 4 hours on sandy roads.
