Car
If driving from Ilhéus, set your GPS to Rodovia Ilhéus- km 45 Maruim, Una - BA, 45690-000. The reserve is approximately 45 km south of Ilhéus. Follow the BR-101 highway south, then take the exit toward BA-001. Continue on BA-001 for about 12 km until you reach the reserve. Look for signs for Reserva Biológica de Una. Parking is available at the reserve. Ensure to check for any entry fees upon arrival.
Public Transport
To reach the Una Biological Reserve via public transportation, take a bus from Ilhéus to Una. Buses typically cost BRL 10-20 and the journey takes about 1 hour. From Una, take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to the reserve, which is about 15 km from the town center. A taxi ride should cost approximately BRL 30-50 and take around 20 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
