Driving
From Januária, take BR-365 east for approximately 40 km. Turn right onto MG-122 and continue for 15 km until you reach Levinópolis. Follow local signs for 5 km on an unpaved road to Gruta do Janelão. A vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is available near the visitor center. There are no tolls on this route. Parking fees are approximately R$10-R$20 per day.
Walking
If you are in Levinópolis, you can walk to Gruta do Janelão. The walk is approximately 5 km and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow local paths leading away from the town towards the countryside, keeping an eye out for road signs indicating the direction to the gruta. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and plenty of water.
