The park's design draws inspiration from the rock crystals found in Cristalina, Goiás, mirroring their forms through geometric concrete sculptures and a large reflecting pool.The plaza originally featured 53 plant species, primarily native to the Cerrado biome, highlighting the region's biodiversity. While some original species didn't survive, others, like the 12-meter buriti palm, have thrived for decades. The reflecting pools, revitalized after 20 years, now host fish and are illuminated for nighttime visits, enhancing the plaza's appeal.Praça dos Cristais provides a tranquil escape from the city, ideal for leisurely strolls, picnics, and appreciating the blend of nature and urban design.
