Getting There

• Public Transport - Bus

  From Copacabana, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana. Take the bus number 583 towards Gávea. After about 25 minutes, get off at the stop labeled 'Gávea - Praça Santos Dumont'. From there, walk along Rua Marquês de São Vicente until you reach Estrada da Gávea. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Mirante Rocinha, located at Estr. da Gávea, 233-223.

• Public Transport - Metro and Bus

  If you are near a metro station, take the Line 1 (Blue Line) towards Jardim Oceânico. Get off at the 'General Osório' station. From there, exit the station and head to the 'Ipanema' bus terminal. Take the bus number 584 towards Rocinha. Get off at the stop before the last one, which is 'Rocinha - Estr. da Gávea'. Walk about 5 minutes up the hill on Estr. da Gávea to reach Mirante Rocinha.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of Parque da Gávea, you can walk to Mirante Rocinha. Start at the park and head towards Estrada da Gávea. Follow the road uphill for about 15-20 minutes. The walk is steep, so wear comfortable shoes. You'll arrive directly at Mirante Rocinha, which offers beautiful views of the area.

• Rideshare or Taxi

  You can use a rideshare service like Uber or a local taxi. Simply enter 'Mirante Rocinha' or the address 'Estr. da Gávea, 233-223, Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro' into the app. This is a convenient option if you prefer not to navigate public transport.
