Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near a metro station, take Line 1 (the orange line) towards General Osório station. Once you arrive at General Osório station, exit the station and head towards Rua Visconde de Pirajá. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the beach. Once you are at the beach, turn right and walk along the shoreline for approximately 10 minutes. Posto 3 is located at Av. Atlântica, 2112, right before you reach the Copacabana Palace.

• Bus

  Look for a bus stop near your location and take a bus heading towards Copacabana. Buses with the numbers 511, 512, or 524 typically go there. Ask the driver to drop you off at 'Av. Atlântica, 2112'. Once you get off, you will see Posto 3 directly across the street, positioned right on the beach.

• Walking

  If you are in the Copacabana area, simply walk towards Avenida Atlântica. Make your way down to the beach, and walk along the promenade. If you start at the Copacabana Fort, head east along the beach for about 20 minutes. Posto 3 will be located at Av. Atlântica, 2112, where you will find beach activities and facilities.

• Bicycle

  You can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Rio. Follow the cycle path along the beachfront. Head towards Copacabana beach and continue until you reach Posto 3 at Av. Atlântica, 2112. It's a scenic ride, and the cycle path is well marked along the beachfront.
