From Ipanema, take the Metro Line 1 (Orange Line) to General Osório Station. Transfer to the integrated bus to Barra da Tijuca (Alvorada Terminal). At Terminal Alvorada, take the BRT (Transoeste express line) towards Santa Cruz and get off at Ilha de Guaratiba Station. From there, take bus line 874 or 867 to Barra de Guaratiba. The Sítio is a short distance from the final bus stop. Single BRT fares around R$4.30.
