From anywhere in Leblon, head towards the beach. Walk to Avenida Atlântica, the main road along the beachfront. Depending on your starting point, you may need to navigate through local streets to reach the shore. Once you reach Avenida Atlântica, walk south towards Ipanema. The distance is approximately 1.5 km from the center of Leblon to the Ipanema beach area.

Public Transport - Bus
Once you are at the beach, you can take a bus to reach the boat departure point for the Cagarras Islands. Look for the bus stop near the beach and catch a bus heading towards the Ipanema area. You can take lines 583 or 584 that run along the beachfront. The fare is around R$ 4.50 (as of last update). Get off at the Ipanema bus stop closest to Av. Vieira Souto.
