    The Irmã Dulce Memorial (Memorial Irmã Dulce – MID) is a permanent exhibition dedicated to preserving the legacy of love and charity of the Good Angel of Bahia. Inaugurated in 1993, a year after her death, the memorial gathers over 800 pieces that showcase the ideals of the religious figure. Visitors can see Sister Dulce's habit, photographs, documents, and personal belongings. The memorial preserves Sister Dulce's room, where she slept in a chair for almost thirty years as an act of devotion. Exhibits include mock-ups, books, diplomas, and medals that highlight other significant moments in her life. The memorial is part of a larger religious-tourist complex dedicated to Sister Dulce, which includes the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin, where her tomb is located. The Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Poor, also known as the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God, has been in operation since 2003. The complex also features a café and a store that sells a variety of products, with proceeds benefiting Sister Dulce's social works. The Santo Antônio Educational Center (CESA), which assists about 780 children and adolescents in social risk situations, also benefits from the proceeds. Sister Dulce was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1988 and was named the most admired woman in the history of Brazil by *O Estado de S. Paulo* newspaper.
