Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in the Pelourinho area, head to the main bus station at Praça da Sé. From there, take the bus number 101 (which goes towards Calçada). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and get off at the Largo dos Mares stop. Once you get off, the Church of Our Lady of the Seas will be a short walk away. Just follow the signs towards the coast, and you’ll see the church on your left.

• Walking

  If you are near the Mercado Modelo, you can walk to the church. Head east along Rua da Boa Vista until you reach the intersection with Rua da Calçada. Turn left on Rua da Calçada and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will eventually reach Largo dos Mares, where the Church of Our Lady of the Seas is located.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service

  For a more convenient option, you can use a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply input 'Largo dos Mares, Calçada' as your destination. The ride from the city center should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be right at the church.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike in the city center and head towards Calçada. Follow the coastal road along Avenida 7 de Setembro, which will lead you to Largo dos Mares. The church is easily visible from the main road.
