Driving
From the Paraty traffic circle, take the BR-101 (Rio-Santos highway) towards Rio de Janeiro for 24 km. Turn left onto the Estrada do Sertão do Taquari and continue for approximately 2 km. You'll find a parking area near the waterfall entrance. Parking is generally free. Be aware that during peak season or on weekends, local residents may charge a small fee for parking in unofficial areas.
Public Transport
While there isn't direct public transport to the waterfall entrance, you can take a bus from Paraty towards the Sertão do Taquari area and ask to be dropped off near the Estrada do Sertão do Taquari. From there, it's approximately a 2 km walk to the waterfall. Bus fares within Paraty typically cost around R$4-6. Consider local bus schedules as they may be infrequent.
