Discover more about The Baths

The Baths are a geological marvel located on the southern tip of Virgin Gorda, in the British Virgin Islands. Here, massive granite boulders, some as large as 40 feet in diameter, create a unique landscape of tidal pools, tunnels, arches, and grottoes. Formed millions of years ago by volcanic activity, the molten rock cooled slowly, creating the granite formations. Over time, erosion shaped the boulders into the smooth, rounded shapes seen today. The Baths have become a playground for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Visitors can explore the grottos, swim in the clear waters, snorkel around the rocks, and hike the trails. The Baths are part of the National Park system, along with neighboring Spring Bay and Devil's Bay. The park is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and there is a small entrance fee. Facilities include restrooms, lockers, and a restaurant. Visitors can explore the area's history and channel their inner buccaneer as they navigate the labyrinth of boulders. The Baths offer a unique experience that showcases the impact of time on nature and are a must-visit for travelers from all corners of the globe.
