From Great Harbour, White Bay is a short taxi ride or a 30-minute walk. Round-trip ferry tickets cost approximately $20-$30 USD per adult. A taxi from Great Harbour to White Bay is approximately $5-$10 USD. Alternatively, ferries are available from St. Thomas and St. John (USVI) to Jost Van Dyke on select days. Check the Inter Island Ferry Service for schedules and reservations. These ferries typically run on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departure taxes apply when leaving the BVI, approximately $20 USD per person.
Water Taxi/Private Charter
For a more direct and customized journey, consider a private water taxi or boat charter from Tortola, St. Thomas, or St. John. A private water taxi from St. Thomas to Jost Van Dyke costs approximately $825 each way for up to 5 people, plus $60 per person for international processing fees. Walking
From the ferry dock in Great Harbour, it is possible to walk to White Bay. The walk is approximately 30 minutes. Follow the road west from the ferry dock, and then follow the signs to White Bay. Be aware that the roads can be steep in some places.
