Getting There

  • Driving

    From Cruz Bay, the main town on St. John, drive east on either North Shore Road or Centerline Road towards Coral Bay. Turn right onto Route 107 at the Coral Bay sign. Continue for just under four miles to the Salt Pond Bay parking lot on your left. Parking is free, but the lot can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Consider arriving early (before 9 am) to secure a spot. Taxis are also available from Cruz Bay.

    From the Salt Pond Bay parking lot, walk across the dirt path to Salt Pond Beach. Continue to the far end of the beach. Follow the path to the right along the shoreline. The trail then goes into the woods and up a hill. Follow the path until you reach Ram Head.
