Once you arrive in Tortola, you can rent a car at the airport or a local rental agency. Follow the signs to Road Town, then take the northbound road towards the West End. From there, head to the ferry terminal located in West End to catch a ferry to St John. The ferry ride will take about 20 minutes. Ensure you have cash on hand as some ferries may require payment in cash. Once you arrive at the Cruz Bay terminal on St John, you can explore the island by car or on foot.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the ferry from Scrub Island to Tortola. Make your way to the Scrub Island Ferry Terminal to board the ferry to Road Town, Tortola. After arriving in Road Town, you can take a local bus or taxi to the West End Ferry Terminal. The bus is a more economical option and will cost around $2-3 per person, but it may take longer due to multiple stops. At the West End Ferry Terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to St John.
