From Bansko, drive north on 'Pirin' street towards the Pirin National Park entrance. Continue straight until you reach the 'Banderitsa' parking area, approximately 6 km from Bansko. Parking fees typically apply, around 10 BGN for a day. From the parking area, follow the marked hiking trail to Banderishka Meadow, a 1-2 hour hike.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Sofia or another major city to Bansko. From the Bansko bus station, take a local taxi to the 'Banderitsa' parking area, costing around 10-15 BGN. Alternatively, walk to the Bansko Gondola Ski Lift and take it to Banderishka Meadow. A round-trip ticket on the gondola costs 40 BGN. From the top of the Gondola, follow the hiking trail to Banderishka Meadow.
Hiking
From the Bansko Gondola lift station, take the marked hiking trail towards Banderishka Meadow, a 2.5-hour uphill hike. Ensure you have appropriate hiking shoes and water. Alternatively, from the 'Banderitsa' parking area, hike to Banderishka Meadow via the marked trail, a 1-2 hour hike. No additional costs are incurred for hiking.
