From the center of Pleven, go to Tsar Alexander II square and find the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 5 or 10 towards Kaylaka Park. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Kaylaka' stop, which is the closest to Pleven Zoo. From there, walk about 1 km into the park, following signs to the zoo. A single bus ticket costs approximately 1 BGN.
Walking
From the city center at Tsar Alexander II square, head southeast on Vasil Levski street. Continue straight until you reach Kaylaka Park, about a 30-minute walk. Once inside the park, follow the signs towards the zoo. The zoo entrance will be on your left.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Pleven. Simply tell the driver to take you to Pleven Zoo, Kaylaka, 35. The ride typically takes 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 4-5 BGN for a short trip within the city.
