- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking on uneven and wet surfaces inside the cave.
- Bring warm clothing, as the temperature inside the cave remains around 10°C (50°F).
- Check the cave's opening hours and seasonal availability, as they may vary to protect the bat population.

Public Transport
From Shumen city center, go to the main bus station on 'Vasil Levski' street. Take bus number 10 to Kyoshkovete. Check the local timetable for current schedules. Get off at the last stop in Kyoshkovete and walk towards the Shumensko Plateau, following signs to Biserna Cave. The cave is within the natural reserve area. A single bus fare is approximately 1.00 BGN.

Walking
From the center of Shumen, near the Shumen Monument, head northeast on 'Tsar Osvoboditel' street. Continue to 'Vasil Levski' street and turn right. Walk to the bus station, about 1 km away. From there, take bus number 10 to Kyoshkovete. Alternatively, from Kyoshkovete, you can walk about 1 km, following signs towards the Shumensko Plateau and Biserna Cave. Note that the walk from Shumen city center to Biserna Cave is considerable, so using a combination of bus and walking is advisable.

Driving
From Shumen, follow the road towards Kyoshkovete. Parking is available on the asphalt road before the turn for the Shumen Municipality villa. From there, continue on foot for about 1 km, following the signs to Biserna Cave. The forest road is not suitable for vehicles. Parking is free.
