From the center of Shumen, start at the main square (Ploshtad Knyaz Boris I). Head southeast along Vasil Levski Street for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Tsar Osvoboditel Street. Turn left onto Tsar Osvoboditel Street, continue straight for another 500 meters until you see the signs for Shumen Fortress. Follow the signs to the entrance, which will be on your right.
