Starting from the center of Makamba, head northwest on Avenue du Burundi towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Réunification. Turn left onto Avenue de la Réunification and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will then reach a junction; take the right fork towards Kizuka. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers, and you will see signs for Gakora Stone Beach. The beach is located at coordinates 49CJ+MC, Kizuka. Parking is available near the beach.

From the main bus station in Makamba, take a bus heading towards Kizuka. The fare is approximately 1,000 BIF (Burundian Francs). Inform the driver that you are going to Gakora Stone Beach, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop, which is around 2 kilometers from the beach. After getting off, you can either walk towards the beach or hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) for about 1,500 BIF to take you directly to Gakora Stone Beach.
