If you are staying in the main town of Sal Rei, start by walking towards the waterfront. Head south along Avenida 5 de Julho until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de Lisboa. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de Azeitona. Turn left onto Rua de Azeitona and keep walking until you hit the main road. Turn right and walk towards the direction of Praia de Chaves. Follow the signs toward Ervatão Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from Sal Rei. The beach is known for its beautiful scenery and relaxed vibe.

For those comfortable cycling, rent a bicycle in Sal Rei. Start from the center and head south to Avenida 5 de Julho.
