Walking
If you are near the downtown Berkeley area, start by heading northeast on Shattuck Avenue. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach University Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and continue walking for another 15 minutes. When you reach the intersection with Telegraph Avenue, turn right onto Telegraph Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the entrance of the UC Berkeley campus. Once on campus, follow the signs towards Doe Library, which is located at the end of Campanile Way. The library will be on your right.

From downtown Berkeley, locate the nearest bus stop and catch the AC Transit bus number 7 or 18 towards the UC Berkeley campus. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop at Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue. From there, walk up Telegraph Avenue towards the campus entrance. Once inside the campus, follow the signs to Doe Library located on Campanile Way.
