Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Berkeley campus, head towards the main entrance of the university at Sproul Plaza. From Sproul Plaza, walk northeast towards the main campus quad. Continue walking through the quad, passing by the iconic Doe Memorial Library on your left. After passing the library, follow the signs for the Campanile, which is also known as Sather Tower. You will see the tower in front of you as you walk. Continue walking straight until you reach the base of Sather Tower. The entrance is located on the south side of the tower.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    If you are near the Downtown Berkeley BART station, you can take the AC Transit bus. Catch the bus number 51B towards the UC Berkeley campus. After a short ride, disembark at the 'University Ave & Oxford St' stop. From there, walk towards the campus entrance at Sproul Plaza. Once you reach Sproul Plaza, follow the walking directions mentioned earlier towards Sather Tower. The Campanile will be visible as you approach the quad.
