Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    If you are starting from downtown Berkeley, take the AC Transit bus line 1 or 1R heading towards the UC Berkeley campus. Get off at the 'Bowditch at Bancroft' stop. From there, walk east on Bancroft Way for about 5 minutes until you reach Wheeler Hall, which is located on the left side of the street. The auditorium is on the ground floor of the building.

    If you are near the Berkeley campus, head towards the intersection of Bancroft Way and Telegraph Avenue. From there, walk east along Bancroft Way for approximately 10 minutes. You will pass by several campus buildings. Wheeler Hall will be on your left side just before you reach the intersection with Bowditch Street.

    If you are cycling through Berkeley, you can take the bike lanes along Telegraph Avenue. Head north until you reach Bancroft Way, then turn left (west) onto Bancroft. Continue cycling for about 5 minutes, and Wheeler Hall will be on your right side just past the intersection with Bowditch Street. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
