Walking
If you're starting from the Downtown Berkeley BART station, exit the station and head east on Allston Way towards Shattuck Avenue. Turn left onto Shattuck Avenue and continue north until you reach University Avenue. Turn right onto University Avenue and follow it until you reach the campus entrance. Once inside the campus, follow the signs for Sather Tower, which is located on the east side of the campus near the center. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.

From the Downtown Berkeley BART station, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Shattuck Avenue. You can take the AC Transit bus 51B towards the UC Berkeley campus. Get off at the stop at Telegraph Avenue and Bancroft Way. From there, walk east on Bancroft Way towards the campus. Enter the campus and follow the signs towards Sather Tower. The entire trip will take about 15-20 minutes depending on bus schedules.
