Walking
If you are in Big Sur, start at the Big Sur River Inn. From the Inn, walk east on CA-1 N/Pacific Coast Hwy. Continue walking for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Carmel Valley Road. Continue straight on CA-1 N for another 10 miles, enjoying the coastal views. When you reach the town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, take a left onto Ocean Ave. Follow Ocean Ave until it ends at Scenic Rd. Turn right on Scenic Rd and continue until you reach 17 Mile Dr. Seal Rock Creek Beach will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. The walk will take approximately 2 hours, depending on your pace.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, start at the Big Sur Campground and Cabins. Head south on the campground road to CA-1 S. Turn right onto CA-1 S and cycle for about 3 miles. Keep an eye out for the signposts directing you to Pebble Beach and 17 Mile Dr. Once you reach the area, keep following the signs for 17 Mile Dr. It’s about a 30-minute bike ride from the campground to Seal Rock Creek Beach. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

Public Transit
From Big Sur Village, you can take the Monterey-Salinas Transit bus (Line 22) towards Monterey. Get off at the Carmel-by-the-Sea stop. From there, transfer to the Line 1 bus towards Pebble Beach. Get off at the 17 Mile Dr & Seal Rock Creek Beach stop. The total travel time will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, including waiting times. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance to plan your trip accordingly!
