    From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, walk to the nearest bus stop on Ocean Avenue. Take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus number 22 towards Pebble Beach. From there, you can either walk or use a rideshare service to reach the Lone Cypress, which is about a 10-15 minute walk along the scenic 17-Mile Drive.
