Getting There

    If you're staying in Big Sur Village, head north on Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Follow the road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Enter the park and look for the trailhead for the Pfeiffer Falls Trail. Hike along the trail, which is approximately 1 mile long and will take you through beautiful redwood forests. Upon reaching Pfeiffer Falls, continue along the path until you intersect with the Big Sur River. At this point, navigate towards the north side of the river and follow the trails that lead you towards the coastline. You'll eventually reach a viewpoint that overlooks the dramatic cliffs and the Pacific Ocean. From here, you can see Hurricane Point in the distance.
