Public Transit - Bus

From Burbank, head to the nearest bus stop on Olive Avenue or Magnolia Boulevard. Take the Metro 155 bus towards Santa Monica. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the stop at 7th St and Santa Monica Blvd. Walk two blocks south on 7th St, and you will arrive at the Santa Monica History Museum located at 1350 7th St.
Public Transit - Metro

Make your way to the Burbank Town Center and catch the Metro Red Line at the nearby North Hollywood Station. Ride towards Union Station. At Union Station, transfer to the Metro Expo Line towards Santa Monica. Once you reach the Santa Monica station, exit and walk two blocks east on Colorado Ave, then turn left onto 7th St. The Santa Monica History Museum will be on your right at 1350 7th St.
Walking

If you are near downtown Burbank, a pleasant walk to the Santa Monica History Museum can be a great option. Start by walking towards the Burbank Metrolink Station. From there, head south on San Fernando Blvd, and then take a right onto Magnolia Blvd. Continue until you reach the Metro 155 bus stop at the intersection with 5th St. From there, take the bus to Santa Monica, and follow the bus instructions to get to 7th St.
Biking

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in Burbank. Head south on San Fernando Blvd until you reach the Los Angeles River Bike Path. Follow the path towards the south, which will take you through several parks until you reach Santa Monica. Once you reach Santa Monica, navigate towards 7th St where the museum is located at 1350 7th St.
