Walking
From the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head south on Ocean Avenue towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with San Carlos Street, and turn left. Walk for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes) until you reach the intersection with 7th Avenue. Turn right onto 7th Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Mission Street. Cross Mission Street and keep walking straight, which will lead you to Portola Plaza. The Monterey Conference Center will be on your left at 1 Portola Plaza.

Bicycle
If you rent a bicycle in Carmel-by-the-Sea, start at the corner of Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. Head south on San Carlos Street, then take a left onto 7th Avenue. Continue on 7th Avenue and take a right onto Mission Street. Follow Mission Street until you reach Portola Plaza. The Monterey Conference Center will be located on your left at 1 Portola Plaza. This route is approximately 1.5 miles long and should take about 10-15 minutes by bike.

To reach the Monterey Conference Center via public transport, first walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Ocean Avenue and San Carlos Street. Board the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus line 1 or 2, heading towards Monterey. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Portola Plaza. From there, walk a short distance to the Conference Center located at 1 Portola Plaza. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for timings.
