Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, exit the aquarium through the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk along the waterfront path. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles, enjoying the beautiful views of the bay. You’ll be heading towards Cannery Row. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance of the Monterey Aquarium.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) bus. From the aquarium, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Cannery Row. Catch the MST bus line 1 or 2, which runs regularly. The fare is approximately $2.00. Stay on the bus for two stops, and you will arrive at the Monterey Aquarium stop. From there, it’s just a short walk back to the aquarium entrance.

  • Bicycle Rental

    For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle. There are rental shops along Cannery Row. Rent a bike and ride along the scenic path towards the aquarium.
