Walking
Starting from the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, head south on Ocean Avenue. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with San Carlos Street. Turn left onto San Carlos Street and walk for about two blocks until you reach 6th Avenue. Turn right onto 6th Avenue and walk straight until you hit the end of the street, where you will find Carmel Beach at the end of 6th Avenue.

Bicycling
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Start by making your way to Ocean Avenue and head south. Continue down Ocean Avenue until you reach San Carlos Street, then turn left. Follow San Carlos Street until you reach 6th Avenue, turn right, and bike straight until you reach the beach. Make sure to park your bike at the designated bike racks near the beach access points.

Public Transportation
While Carmel-by-the-Sea has limited public transportation, you can hop on the Monterey-Salinas Transit bus (Route 1) from various stops in town. If you catch the bus heading south, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Carmel Beach, which is a well-known stop. Once you disembark, head towards the beach following the signs, and you will soon reach Carmel Beach.
