From Castro Valley, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the AC Transit Bus Line 35 towards the BART station. Get off at the Hayward BART station. From Hayward BART, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. You will need to transfer at the MacArthur station to the BART train heading towards San Francisco. Get off at the Embarcadero station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the Market Street exit. From there, walk to the Transbay Terminal, where you can catch the Muni F line streetcar. Ride the F line towards Fisherman's Wharf and get off at the Pier 43 1/2 stop.
