Car
If you are driving from Marin County, take US-101 South towards San Francisco. As you approach the city, take the exit for I-280 South towards Daly City. After a short distance, merge onto I-80 East towards the Bay Bridge. After crossing the Bay Bridge, take the exit for Embarcadero. Follow Embarcadero to the left and continue to Lombard Street. Turn left onto Lombard Street and follow it until you reach Fort Mason. The San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is located at Fort Mason. There is limited street parking available; alternatively, you may find paid parking lots nearby, which can range from $5 to $20 per day depending on the location.

Public Transportation
To reach the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park via public transportation, start by taking the Golden Gate Transit bus (Route 30 or 70) from Marin County to the San Francisco Ferry Building. From the Ferry Building, transfer to Muni bus number 30 (Stockton) or 47 (Van Ness) towards Fort Mason. Disembark at the bus stop closest to Fort Mason. The park is a short walk from the bus stop. Ensure you have a Clipper Card or cash for the bus fare; the cost is approximately $3.00 for Golden Gate Transit and $2.50 for Muni.

If you prefer biking, you can take the Golden Gate Bridge bike path from Marin. Once across the bridge, follow the signs towards Fort Mason. This route will take you along scenic waterfront paths.
