Start at the Castro Valley BART station. From the station, head east on Castro Valley Blvd. towards Redwood Rd. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Redwood Rd. Turn left onto Redwood Rd and continue walking for another 1.2 miles. You will pass through a residential area and see local businesses along the way. After walking for about 20 minutes, you will reach the Golf Links Rd intersection. Turn right onto Golf Links Rd and walk along the road for about 0.8 miles, keeping an eye out for signage indicating the San Francisco Bay Overlook. The overlook entrance will be on your left at 9777 Golf Links Rd, Oakland, CA 94605.

Begin your journey at the Castro Valley BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco and get off at the Coliseum station. Transfer to the 46 bus towards 'Eastmont Transit Center'. Get off the bus at the 'Golf Links Rd & Redwood Rd' stop. From there, walk about 0.5 miles along Golf Links Rd heading towards the east. Look for signs for the San Francisco Bay Overlook, which will be on your left at 9777 Golf Links Rd, Oakland, CA 94605.
