If you're driving, start by getting on I-880 N from your current location in East Bay. Follow I-880 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 36B for Davis St toward San Leandro. Merge onto Davis St, then turn left onto E 14th St. Continue straight for about 1 mile, then turn right onto Lafayette Ave. The Historic Peralta House will be on your right at 561 Lafayette Ave, San Leandro, CA 94577. Parking is available on the street nearby.

To reach Historic Peralta House using public transportation, locate the nearest BART station. Board a train heading towards the San Francisco/Daly City direction. Transfer at the Oakland Coliseum station to the BART line towards Warm Springs/South Fremont. Get off at the San Leandro station. From the station, you can take a bus (Line 40) or a rideshare service. If taking a bus, board Line 40 towards Bayfair and get off at the Davis St & E 14th St stop. Walk 10 minutes south on E 14th St, then turn right onto Lafayette Ave. The Historic Peralta House will be on your right. Be sure to check the BART schedule for any service changes and have a Clipper card for fares.
