    From the Danville Plaza, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the Route 5 bus towards the Airport. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Oakland Zoo' stop at Golf Links Rd. From the bus stop, walk south for about 5 minutes to the zoo entrance.

    If you have a bicycle, head towards the Dan River Greenway Trail. Follow the trail west until you reach the intersection with Golf Links Rd. Turn left and continue to the zoo. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

    If you are within walking distance in Danville, start from the Danville City Center. Head south on Main St. until you reach the intersection with Rte 29.
