From there, transfer to Line 46 (towards Oakland) and continue your journey. Get off at the 'Peralta Oaks Ct' stop, which is closest to Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate. Walk approximately 10 minutes towards the estate, following Peralta Oaks Ct up until you reach the entrance.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike shop or a bike-sharing service available in San Leandro. Start your ride heading north on East 14th Street towards Oakland. Continue until you reach the intersection with 98th Avenue, and then turn left. Follow 98th Avenue until you reach the intersection with Peralta Oaks Ct. Turn right onto Peralta Oaks Ct and cycle straight until you reach the entrance of Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you are up for a walk, begin at the San Leandro BART station. Exit the station and head east on Davis Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with East 14th Street. Turn left and walk north. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 98th Avenue. From here, you can choose to take the bus or continue walking. If you continue walking, take a right on 98th Avenue and walk until you reach Peralta Oaks Ct. Turn right onto Peralta Oaks Ct and walk straight to the estate. The entire walk will take approximately 1.5 hours.
