Windward Vineyard at Asuncion Ridge is located at 180 Bella Ranch Rd, Templeton, CA 93465. From Highway 101, exit at Vineyard Drive and head east. Turn left onto Peachy Canyon Road, then right onto Bella Ranch Road. The vineyard will be on your right. Parking is available on-site. Parking is free.

Windward Vineyard, now sharing a tasting room with Asuncion Ridge Vineyards, offers a distinctive wine-tasting experience centered around Pinot Noir. Owners Marc Goldberg and Maggie D'Ambrosia have dedicated themselves to this varietal, crafting Burgundian-style wines from their estate-grown grapes.Windward's journey began in 1990 when the couple discovered the potential of Paso Robles' westside for Pinot Noir, influenced by the cool Pacific Ocean breezes and calcareous soils. Their first vintage was in 1993. In September 2024, Windward relocated its tasting room to Asuncion Ridge Vineyards, continuing a long-standing relationship between the two wineries. At the tasting room, guests can sample a selection of Windward's Pinot Noir vintages. In addition to Pinot Noir, Windward also produces a special rosé wine, Vin Gris de Pinot Noir.Asuncion Ridge Vineyards was founded by Philip Krumal and Michael Dilsaver. Krumal apprenticed with Windward's Marc Goldberg, solidifying the bond between the wineries. Asuncion Ridge produces a range of varietals, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rhône, and Bordeaux wines. The tasting room provides a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can enjoy the wines while taking in the scenery.
