Continue on CA-62 for about 35 miles until you reach the junction with CA-177. Take CA-177 N for about 9 miles, then merge onto CA-62 E again. After about 30 miles, you will reach the town of Joshua Tree. From Joshua Tree, continue on CA-62 and then take CA-95 N. Follow CA-95 N for approximately 40 miles, then merge onto I-40 W toward Barstow. Continue for about 50 miles and take Exit 105 for Kelbaker Rd. Follow Kelbaker Rd for about 22 miles until you reach the Mojave Desert Lava Tube entrance, located at coordinates 35.2163° N, 115.7515° W. Be aware that some sections of Kelbaker Rd may be unpaved, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
