  If you are using public transportation, your best option would be to take a Greyhound bus to Barstow, CA. From Barstow, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Mojave Trails National Monument, as there is no direct public transport to the monument. The distance from Barstow to the monument is approximately 50 miles, and the fare for a taxi can vary, so it is advisable to check rates in advance. Ensure you plan your return trip as taxi services may not be readily available.
