From Costa Mesa, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the OC Bus Route 57 towards Long Beach. Once on the bus, stay on it for about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Harbor Blvd & 22nd St' stop in San Pedro. From there, it's a short walk: head south on S Harbor Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Battleship USS Iowa Museum at 250 S Harbor Blvd.

If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Costa Mesa. Start by heading south on Fairview Rd, then connect to Adams Ave heading west. Continue until you reach Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH). Follow PCH south towards San Pedro. When you get to San Pedro, turn onto S Harbor Blvd, and bike south until you arrive at the Battleship USS Iowa Museum at 250 S Harbor Blvd.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to experience the local area, start at the Costa Mesa Civic Center. Walk east on 17th St until you reach Fairview Rd. Turn left on Fairview Rd and continue south to reach PCH. From there, you can walk along the coast towards San Pedro. It’s a long walk, about 15 miles, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and water. Once you reach San Pedro, turn onto S Harbor Blvd and head south to find the Battleship USS Iowa Museum at 250 S Harbor Blvd.
