    If you are starting from the Costa Mesa Civic Center at 77 Fair Drive, head east on Fair Drive towards the intersection with Newport Boulevard. Turn left onto Newport Boulevard and walk north for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with 17th Street. From there, turn right onto 17th Street and continue walking until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Cross the highway and head towards the beach. Use the beach access paths to get to the Pacific Coast Highway bike path. Once on the bike path, you will need to head south towards Newport Coast. Keep walking along the bike path for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Newport Coast Drive. Turn left onto Newport Coast Drive and follow the signs towards the Original Irvine Ranch National Natural Landmark Plaque, located at Unnamed Road, Newport Coast, CA 92657.

    From the Costa Mesa MetroLink station, take the train to the Newport Beach station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the nearest bus stop.
