Driving

From Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), whether approaching from Newport Beach (north) or Laguna Beach (south), look for the intersection of Los Trancos. Turn inland (east) at the traffic light. This leads directly into the Los Trancos parking lot, the primary access point for the Historic District. Be prepared for potential traffic congestion on PCH, especially during peak hours and summer weekends. Parking fees apply upon entry to the lot. Regular: $5 per hour / $15 daily max. Holiday Rate: $20.
Public Transport

The OCTA (Orange County Transportation Authority) bus Route 1 provides service along Pacific Coast Highway. Disembark at the stop closest to the Los Trancos intersection. From there, walk inland (east) towards the Los Trancos parking lot and follow the signs to the Historic District. A single ride on the OCTA bus costs approximately $2.
Shuttle

From the Los Trancos parking lot, you have the option of walking through a tunnel under PCH to reach the Historic District, or taking the Beachcomber Café shuttle. The shuttle costs $1.50 per person each way (kids 12 and under and persons with disabilities ride free). The shuttle runs daily from 7am-10pm and is equipped with a wheelchair lift.
