From Joshua Tree, head to the nearest bus stop on Highway 62. Take the Morongo Basin Transit Authority (MBTA) bus line towards Twentynine Palms. The bus will take you to Twentynine Palms. Once you arrive at the Twentynine Palms stop, walk east on Twentynine Palms Highway (CA-62) until you reach the intersection with Park Boulevard. Turn left onto Park Boulevard and continue until you reach the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The Lost Horse Mine Trailhead is located approximately 4 miles inside the park. You may need to check for shuttle services or inquire at the Visitor Center for transport options to reach the trailhead.
